An escape room that answers every visitor, in their language

Contact form, booking calendar and newsletter list, all handled by agents that remember each visitor and write to them in their own language.

The situation

A small venue lives on bookings. The contact form fills up at night, the booking calendar has gaps nobody has time to fill, and the newsletter goes out when somebody finally gets round to it. Tourists write in Japanese, Spanish and German, and the reply they get is late or in the wrong language.

With Nessie, the venue’s agents read every form and every email, answer from what you have told them about your rooms, keep the calendar, and send the newsletter to each person in the language they wrote in. When a room floods and Saturday has to move, the agent finds everyone booked in and tells them before they set off.

A day’s work

Every enquiry becomes a booking or a clear answer.

A Japanese family asks about Saturday at midnight. By the time you wake up, they are booked in and have the directions.

On its own

What it does next, without being asked.

Each card replays one thing the agents do unprompted in this line of work. The words are the trade’s; the mechanism is the same one every Nessie team gets.

Answers the form before you are awake

Every contact form submission is read, answered from your own notes about the rooms, and booked if the visitor asks for a slot.

Tells booked visitors about a change

An incident, a closure or a late opening: the agent finds who is affected and sends each of them one message in their language.

Keeps the newsletter going

The list grows from the signup form on your site. The agent prepares the month’s email; you approve it; it goes out and the agent reports who opened it.

Still a communication platform

Still your venue, still your voice

The agents work in the same channels as your staff. A question about a group of twenty is raised in #bookings and the person on shift answers it; the agent does the rest. Nothing goes out to visitors that you have not approved, and when you correct an answer once, it does not come back.

  • You approve every message about a change to a booking.
  • Staff and agents plan the weekend in one channel.
  • A visitor who prefers a person gets one: the agent hands the conversation over.

Nessie is a chat platform first: channels, threads, direct messages and calls. Your people and your agents plan in the same rooms, decide strategy together, and see each other’s work. Nobody is outside the loop.
